Art Usage Policy

The following rules apply to EVERYONE and to all artwork displayed on my profiles.

All of my artworks are for personal use only, and I retain the copyright of them. Unless accorded otherwise with the eventual client

This means you can't use them for anything that makes money. This applies not only to commissioned pieces.

If you have a commercial project in mind, please clarify it from the start! We can discuss the details and agree on a price that fits the project's purpose. On average purchasing a commercial license or copyright/marketing rights will increase the commission price to +100% or more depending on the specifics.

This includes, but is not limited to, AI training, datasets, or image generation.
THIS RULE APPLIES TO ALL MY CONTENT, even pieces you have commissioned.

- "can I, as client during the commissioning phase, edit the piece with AI to better visualize what I want to be edited?"
No, this rule applies even to cases like this. I highly prefer receiving different references gathered online or a screenshot of my art with your edits sketched on top.

You must credit me whenever you post my artworks online.

When reposting my content, please do not crop, cover, or hide my signature.
Purposely removing my credit may result, depending on the situation, in a ban.

Please do not copy / trace / heavily reference any of my artwork.

Don't use my content in public association with anything NSFW, or things I might not be comfortable with. When in doubt, don't be afraid to ask!

Terms of Service

The following rules apply to all my commissioners.

By purchasing a commission, you are automatically agreeing to all the terms listed above and below. Take some time to read all of them carefully!

If there's something that isn't covered here, or you have any concerns, don't hesitate to ask!
I'm always happy to further explain about why a rule is in place or how my process works.

BEFORE COMMISSIONING

I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason, in very rare cases even during the production if I retain necessary to do so!

Commissions are not first-come, first-served.

You can send references, moodboards, color palettes or whatever you think it's best to better help me bring your vision to life and consequently create something that meets your expectations as well. Anything helps!

If instead you'd like artistic freedom, that's awesome too! It will be available in the form so be sure to check it, but remeber that if you choose this option it'd be still mandatory to describe your character's personality as best as possible to better give me inspiration on what to create.

I perfectly understand the excitement when waiting for a piece to be completed, but this is currently not my full-time job so I can't really estimate how much time will take finishing a work: it could take a few days to months depending on the request, so please be aware of that, and thank you for the patience!

The sooner the due date or complex the work I have to do, the higher the price.

Meaning that I can and will post the commission publicly but won't mention the client's name.

Meaning that I can't post the commission publicly, therefore has to be kept between me and the client.

If you ask me to draw a character without any proper reference sheet or visual examples, therefore I have to draw the main design, an additional fee will occur.

AI generated reference sheets are HIGHLY discouraged (visually and morally), and the character given will be subjected to proper redesign to turn the design human generated. An additional fee may occur if the design is too vague.

The commission will not be started if the client only fills out the form without reaching out to me.

PAYMENT

An additional 6% of the price of your commission will be added to cover Paypal's tariffs.

If your currency is different be sure to convert the amount to pay BEFORE sending it, or else the payment will not be accepted

Payment plans are available for commissions over €200. If you're interested in a payment plan, please be sure to mention it.

My commission prices are final and always updated on my website. Please be sure to check them before commissioning. Only request a commission when you are sure you're prepared to pay.

Refunds are available only when I retain it strictly necessary.
If the commission has already been started, the refund will be partial based on how much time I spent on that work.

I accept multi-participants commissions, however the full payment must be handled by one person only.

PROGRESSION

I will send you WIPs during the whole creating process. The commission will be paused until I receive your feedback, so please remember to respond!

Major changes must be requested during the sketch phase ( this includes such things as pose or expression ). Otherwise there will be a little fee to pay.

Asking for minor changes is a-okay and they will not be charged in any phase of the process.

Sharing the WIPs I send you with friends is generally okay, but please ask permission to post them anywhere else.

AFTER THE COMMISSION

The client will receive two versions of the commissioned piece:

• Original Full resolution - for own personal use
• With watermarks/ slightly lower resolution - for internet publishing

You can ask for edits after the piece is completed, although depending on the edits to do, there will be an additional fee to pay.
Minor changes will not be charged.

Do not edit yourself the pieces you commission, or ask someone else to do it. Please ask me first. I must be the only person to modify my artwork. This includes changing colors, removing the background, or any other alterations.

COPYRIGHTS

Purchasing a commission does not transfer copyright to you. I still retain the copyright of the artwork, therefore I can reproduce and sell the piece as individual products, gadgets, prints, and such. Unless stated otherwise with the client.

• Post the artwork on any social media or website with proper credit
• Print the artwork for your own personal, non-monetary use

❌ YOU CAN'T:

• Use the artwork for any commercial purpose or for monetary gain, unless a commercial license was purchased.
• Use the artwork for advertising or propaganda.
• Feed the artwork to any AI or machine learning algorithm.
• Use the artwork in association with any non-fungible token (NFT) or other blockchain technology
